The “Programs and Features” tool is a convenient tool on Windows POS cashier terminals to easily manage programs, updates, and Windows features. It provides a complete list of all applications installed on Windows POS cashier terminals, making it easy to view or uninstall installed programs (such as POS software, drivers, printing tools, etc.).
Knowing how to enter the “Programs and Features” tool on Windows POS cashier terminals can help users manage installed applications more conveniently and improve work efficiency. Sunnay engineers summarized the following four quick tips:
1. Entering the “Programs and Features” tool on Windows POS cashier terminals through the Control Panel is a common and familiar way.
Press Windows + R to open the “Run” dialog box.
Type Control and press Enter to open the “Control Panel”.
Click “Programs” and select “Programs and Features”.
2. Opening the “Programs and Features” tool on Windows POS cashier terminals through the “Settings” application is relatively simple.
Click the “Start” menu and select the “Settings” icon (gear icon).
Navigate to “Apps”.
Under “Apps and Features”, you will see a list of installed programs.
3. Use the command prompt to directly prompt the program and feature tool, which is the preferred way to open it for many advanced users.
Press Windows + R, enter cmd, and then press Enter to open the command prompt.
Enter appwiz.cpl and press Enter.
4. If you want a more convenient method without having to remember the command, you can enter it through the menu.
Right-click the “Start” button or “Win+X” keys to open the menu and select “Apps and Features”.
Click and select “Programs and Features”.
It should be noted that if our Windows POS cashier terminal has been locked by the system or customized streamlined mode, the “Control Panel” and “Settings” entries may be hidden. Please contact the relevant system administrator or technician to remove the restrictions.
