The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation. It’s for remembering a government official named Qu Yuan of the Warring States period. He was a patriotic and respected man but fell into disfavor in the emperor’s court because of the rival’s misdeeds.

Qu don’t want to watch his country falling into enemies, so threw himself into the Mi Low river and killed himself. The residents take boats to search for him and throw rice into the waters to satisfy the river dragons. Although they were unable to find Qu Yuan, their efforts still deserve to be affirmed today.
