Q: What type of SSDs do you use in your Windows POS machines?
A: Sunany's Windows POS machines that are based on Intel 3rd to 7th generation processors use mSATA interface SSDs, while those based on 8th to 10th generation processors use M.2 interface SSDs. Furthermore, our newer products will gradually incorporate PCI-E interface to support faster NVMe interface SSDs for users.

Q: Is it necessary to install a driver to use the R1 RFID reader?
A: No, it is not necessary to install a driver. The R1 RFID card reader communicates with the POS machine via the USB interface. Once it reads the first 10 digits of the card number, it simulates a keyboard to input the card number and press "Enter". You can simply call the data in the secondary development without any additional driver installation.

Q: Do I need to purchase a Windows license separately when ordering a POS machine?
A: Typically, as a hardware manufacturer, we pre-install a trial version of the operating system on the POS terminal, which does not include a license. To fully experience the various functions of Windows, it is recommended to purchase a license to activate the operating system. you can purchase a license to activate the system yourself, or purchase a license from Sunany.

Q: Why is your price higher than that of other suppliers?
A: That's a great question. Well known that there are many POS machine manufacturers in China, and prices can vary greatly between products. Our products are made with high-quality materials and components, and we prioritize reliability and performance. We believe that investing in quality pays off in the long run, and we encourage you to test our products and compare them to those from other suppliers to see the difference in quality and value.

Q: How does an i-button work?
A: An i-button reader contains an intensive strong magnet that generates a magnetic ring. When an electronic key with a hoop is brought near the reader, it is adsorbed onto the reader by the magnet. At the same time, the gilt spring contact on the reader is turned, enabling the ID information on the electronic key to be read. This ID data is then used by the cashier system to perform time operations. The electronic key can be fixed on the reader, and once it is removed, the machine sends a signal to the master and locks it. This feature is used for operation and control of the cashier system.

Q: Does your POS system support POE power supply?
A: As most POS systems require connection to a receipt printer, which demands highly stable current, we believe that POE power supply mode not ensure the POS system to work stably. Thus, we are unable to provide support for POE power supply at the moment, but it is a possible direction for our future product development.
