Sunany 2025 Memorable Shaoguan Trip

On November 15–16, Sunany team went on a two-day trip to Shaoguan. Everyone took a break from their daily work, enjoyed the natural scenery, and shared plenty of relaxed and happy moments along the way.

We set off at 8 a.m. after getting ready. After about four hours of driving, we arrived at our destination and had lunch locally to refuel for the day ahead.

Our first stop was Maozi Peak, located in Nanxiong, Guangdong. It was late autumn, and the ginkgo leaves were starting to turn yellow, covering the forest floor and hills with a warm, golden color. Wandering down Golden Avenue, stepping on soft fallen leaves, and feeling sunlight filter through the trees created a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Everyone kept stopping to take photos, and each shot captured a lovely scene. Nearby, Pingtian Village was also very charming, with ancient ginkgo trees next to traditional houses. The mix of golden leaves and gray rooftops gave the village a peaceful feel, making everyone slow down to enjoy the view.

The next day, we visited Danxia Mountain. This World Natural Heritage site is known for its red steep slopes. We climbed Baozhu Peak first, then Longlao Peak. The hike was a bit tiring, but standing at the top and seeing the red peaks stretching into the distance among green forests made it all worthwhile. The cool breeze at the summit made everyone feel refreshed and open-minded.

The unusual peaks and rock formations at Danxia Mountain also left a strong impression, especially the Yangyuan Stone. Its unique shape amazed everyone. Along the way, we chatted and joked about the quirky rocks, which made the walk relaxed and fun.

After coming down from the mountain, we took a walk along Jinjiang Avenue. The breeze from the river was cool and refreshing, and the bamboo groves along the path gave off a faint, pleasant scent. Taking a few deep breaths felt like stepping into a natural oxygen bar and left everyone feeling rejuvenated.

Food was also an important part of the trip. Shaoguan’s Hakka cuisine is simple but very tasty. We tried stuffed tofu, mountain snails, and other local specialties, and each dish left everyone satisfied. Eating and chatting together created a relaxed atmosphere and helped the team bond more naturally.

Although the trip lasted only two days, it felt full and rewarding. We enjoyed beautiful scenery, tasted local food, and breathed the fresh mountain air—returning to work refreshed, energized, and in high spirits. With this positive energy, Sunany team looks forward to future trips and more memorable experiences together.
