Sunany Participated in the 11th POS Industry Leadership Roundtable Summit

From August 6–9, 2026, the 11th POS Industry Leadership Roundtable Summit was held in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China. Co-hosted by Intel and GIFA (Industrial Control), the summit brought together POS companies, smart retail solution providers, technology companies, and ecosystem partners from across China to explore how AI, edge computing, and data intelligence are accelerating digital transformation in retail.

Sunany participated in this industry event and exchanged insights with industry partners on POS technology innovation, smart retail trends, and future business scenarios. The summit gathered representative companies from the POS and smart retail sectors, including Wintec, E-JETON, and Histone, as well as smart retail companies such as Hangzhou Shifang Technology (Shifang) and ZKONG. Together, industry participants explored new opportunities for intelligent transformation in the retail sector.

During the event, Li Xuan, Sales Director of Intel China’s Industry and Solutions Business Division, shared Intel’s vision for driving retail digital transformation through computing innovation. Xia Geng, Senior Technical Manager of Intel China’s Industry and Solutions Business Division, further discussed Agentic AI and next-generation computing platforms, highlighting how integrated computing capabilities from edge to cloud can support AI applications across retail scenarios.

In addition, Peng Jun, Product Manager at Shenzhen GIFA Industrial Control Co., Ltd., shared practical insights into multi-level computing architectures for AI-powered retail applications, demonstrating how the collaboration between edge computing and cloud computing can accelerate the evolution of retail devices toward smarter solutions. Throughout the summit, Sunany also exchanged perspectives with industry partners on how POS hardware can integrate emerging technologies such as AI and edge computing to support more flexible and efficient commercial applications.

During the roundtable session, participants discussed key topics including how AI can drive industrial efficiency improvements and how industry ecosystems can expand globally in the new market landscape, sharing insights on technology innovation, industrial development, and future market opportunities.
