The Data Reading Modes of Barcode Scanner

There are three different reading modes for barcode scanner to reading information, they are Keyboard mode, Serial mode and TTL mode. How them to reading the data?

Keyboard mode: Scanning the barcode and obtain the data, directly input the computer through keyboard interface. The advantage of this way is that no driver is required and no affection by the operating system, it can be worked directly in various operating systems and without external power supply.

Serial mode: Scanning the barcode and obtain the data, input by serial interface. This mode is required driver or directly read the serial port data, also need external power supply.

TTL mode: Scanning the barcode and obtain the TTL level signal, it can not reading out directly and needs to further develop decoding circuit.
